Chewits 3d illustrations

Chewits had some extremely popular and iconic TV adverts created in the 1980’s. Fast forward to today and Chewits wanted to re-purpose the imagery for merchandising and to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

Unfortunately the original production company, Aardman Animation, wanted £1million to allow the imagery to be re-purposed. Coupled with this was the dated and grainy imagery from the original adverts.

 

Chewits were very close to pulling the plug on their merchandising requirements

We were contacted by Chewits asking if we could help

Of course we jumped at the chance to be involved in this project! Re-creating imagery from those iconic tv adverts was an opportunity we couldn’t refuse

We recreated imagery from all four of the 80’s adverts
